Jimmy's Camera grades very conservatively and here is our grading system:

New is brand new, with complete packaging and documentation like manuals and warranty card.

New = USA New = USA New comes with the USA warranty card.

New (GM) = Grey Market New = International product without the USA warranty card.

LN = Like New - 100% of original cosmetic condition with all or most of the original packaging material and some with or without the warranty card.

Mint = 100% of original cosmetic condition.

Mint means no marks on the item. It looks cosmetically perfect. Mint in function means it works well.

The main difference from "new" is the product no longer has the warranty card, and/or the original packaging.

Demo = 98% to 100% of original cosmetic condition. May show slight wear from use in demonstration. It comes with the original packaging material; and if USA model, comes with the warranty card.

Mint- = 97% to 98% of original cosmetic condition. The product may no longer have the warranty card, and/or the original packaging.

99%M = 99% Mint; 99% of original cosmetic condition.

98%M = 98% Mint; 99% of original cosmetic condition.

Excellent +++ = 95% to 97% of original cosmetic condition.

Excellent++ = 91% to 94% of original cosmetic condition.

Excellent+ = 86% to 90% of original cosmetic condition.

Excellent = 80% to 85% of original cosmetic condition.

Anything below Excellent is less than 80% of original cosmetic condition. We try not to carry below Excellent equipment if possible.
